Using FootyFix

FootyFix is a tool for grassroots football coaches, clubs and parents or guardians in the UK to arrange friendly fixtures and coordinate team activity. Account holders must be 18 or over and give accurate account, club and team information.

Your responsibilities

• Only post fixtures you genuinely intend to play.
• Keep messages respectful. Abuse, harassment, discrimination and spam are not allowed.
• Follow your county FA’s rules, safeguarding requirements and any league regulations.
• Don’t impersonate another club, coach or team.

Fixtures are between coaches

FootyFix helps you find and agree fixtures. The match itself, the officials, insurance, safeguarding and player welfare remain entirely the responsibility of the clubs involved. FootyFix is not a party to any fixture agreement.

Pitch bookings and cost splitting

Pitch availability shown in the Pitch Finder comes from providers’ own feeds or listings, and pitch booking and payment take place on the provider’s website under their terms. The fixture cost split is a record-keeping tool only: it does not move money and does not guarantee that either club has paid.

Gala registrations and payments

Paid Gala registrations purchase participation in a real-world football event or service supplied by the organiser. Stripe processes the payment. The checkout total includes the organiser’s stated entry price and a £1.50 FootyFix booking fee. The booking fee is non-refundable. FootyFix deducts the commission shown to the organiser and arranges the remaining payout through Stripe.

The organiser sets the event details, eligibility rules and refund policy and is responsible for delivering the event. Refund eligibility is determined under the organiser’s published policy and applicable law. A refund may exclude the £1.50 booking fee. Payments may also be delayed, reversed or withheld while Stripe, a card issuer or FootyFix investigates a dispute, chargeback, suspected fraud or legal obligation.

Moderation

We may remove fixtures or content and suspend or delete accounts that break these terms or put coaches or players at risk. You can report a user from their profile or a conversation.

Deleting your account

You can request account deletion at any time from Settings. Deletion is permanent, but limited financial, refund, dispute, fraud-prevention, accounting and moderation records may be retained where legally or operationally required.

Availability and liability

FootyFix is provided “as is”. We work hard to keep it running but can’t guarantee uninterrupted service or the accuracy of third-party pitch availability. To the extent permitted by law we are not liable for losses arising from fixtures, bookings or contact made through the app.
